The popular C 1000 S enjoys a world-wide reputation as one of the most versatile microphones for recording or live sound applications. That's why thousands of musicians and engineers rely on it as their "do it all" microphone. One of the C 1000 S' most important features is that it can be powered by phantom voltage or an internal 9 V battery s o it can be used in places that other high-performance condensers can't. A new feature that has been added to the C 1000S is a built-in battery status monitor. A red LED flashes once at turn on to indicate that the battery has sufficient strength to run the microphone. When battery life drops to 45 minutes, the status monitor LED turns red to indicate the problem. The PPC 1000 polar pattern converter included with the microphone allows quick change from cardioid to hypercardioid pickup for greater gain-before-feedback. The C 1000 S also includes the PB 1000 presence boost adaptor to add 3 to 5 dB of emphasis in the 5 - 9 kHz range that improves transient detail and intelligibility. A long-time favorite, the C 1000S has rugged construction to survive life on the road, yet its pristine response and low noise make an excellent choice for the studio. A hard-shell road case, stand adaptor and foam windscreen are included. Three-year warranty.
